By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:
Kazakhstan’s compliance to OPEC+ deal was 23 percent in December 2021, Trend reports citing the EIA’s Oil Market Report.
The report said that Kazakhstan’s crude oil supply stood at 1.67 million barrels a day during the reporting month as compared to 1.66 million barrels a day in November 2021. The target for December 2021 was 1.67 million barrels a day.
Kazakhstan’s crude oil output inched up to 1.67 million barrels a day in December, but is likely to ease this month after the riots briefly reduced flows at Tengiz, its biggest oil field.
The country’s two other giant fields, Kashagan and Karachaganak, have kept pumping as normal but there were disruptions at some smaller fields, the report said.
During 2021, Kazakh crude production ran at an average 1.5 million barrels a day, up 20,000 barrels a day year-on-year.
