Russia allocates five billion dollars as a loan to Iran for the development of various projects in Iran, Director of TPPH Steam Power Plant Projects Behnam Khaefi-Nejad said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"Russia will also contribute to the implementation of at least 3 energy projects, including Ramin power plants in Ahvaz, and Gotvand hydroelectric power plant," Khaefi-Nejad said.
The two mentioned projects will become operational soon after the implementation of the Sirik power plant project, he said.
Referring to the third energy project, he went on to say that a new Russian contractor has been introduced for building the 1,400-megawatt Sirik power plant in southern Iran.
