The capacity of Iran's Sarajeh and Shourijeh D underground gas storage facilities will reach 6 billion cubic meters in 5 years (March 21, 2026 through March 20, 2027) with the implementation of several plans by the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Deputy Oil Minister and the CEO of the NIGC Majid Chegeni told Shana News Agency, Trend reports.
* Taking into account the changing weather conditions in the country, the National Iranian Gas Company divides the year into two parts for gas production, supply and transportation. According to company, 7 months are marked as hot months, 4 months as cold months, and 1 month as normal months. The start and end dates of the hot and cold months vary depending on weather conditions.
