BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. Kazakhstan's gas production amounted to 53.8 billion cubic meters (bcm) in 2021, and the plan for 2022 is 54.5 bcm, Kazakh Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov said at the Ministry Collegium, Trend reports via Kazakh media.

“A total of 29.4 bcm of commercial gas was produced in 2021, and the plan for 2022 is 29.6 bcm. Gas exports amounted to 7.2 bcm, the expected volume of gas exports for 2022 is 5 billion cubic meters,” Akchulakov noted.

According to the minister, the decline in exports will be due to an increase in local consumption.

The production of petroleum products amounted to 12.7 million tons in 2021.

The production of gasoline was 4.8 million tons, of diesel fuel was 4.9 million tons, of fuel oil was 2.4 million tons and of jet fuel was 586,000 tons. The petroleum products output plan for 2022 is 13.3 million tons,” minister said.
