Iran’s IRENEX shares data on annual sales on international floor

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. In total, 5.14 million tons of hydrocarbon products worth 764 trillion rials (about $3.01 billion under the SANA exchange rate) were sold on the international floor of the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), Trend reports via the report of IRENEX.

According to the report, sales of products on the international floor of the energy exchange for the last Iranian year decreased by 18 percent in value and 63 percent in volume, compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021).

The most sold products on the international floor were light naphtha, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and distillation tower residue.

The following companies sold the most products on the international floor of the IRENEX:

- Persian Gulf Star Oil Company – 28 percent;

- National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company – 14 percent;

- Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company – 13 percent;

- Nouri Petrochemical Company – 12 percent;

- Pars Petrochemical Company – 12 percent;

- South Pars Gas Company – 10 percent.

In general, 1.49 quadrillion rials (about $5.86 billion under the SANA exchange rate) worth of goods were sold at the Iran Energy Exchange for the last Iranian year, which is an increase of 13 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year.
