BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 4. Iran's exports of petrochemical products and gas condensate increased by 43 percent in value and 9 percent in volume, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), as was reflected in the statistics of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI), Trend reports.
Within the last Iranian year, Iran exported about 63.4 million tons of petrochemical products and gas condensate worth $25 billion.
“Meanwhile, in the preceding Iranian year, Iran's exports of petrochemicals and gas condensate amounted to 57.9 million tons worth $17.5 billion,” the statistics said.
In total, Iran's non-oil exports for the last Iranian year amounted to 122 million tons worth $48 billion.
