BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 13. Kazakhstan will be extracting 1.75 million barrels a day of oil and other liquids in 2Q2022 (as compared to 1.54 million barrels a day of oil and other liquids forecast in the previous report), Trend reports with reference to the May Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO) of the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The report said that extraction in 1Q2022 amounted to 2.01 million barrels a day (1.95 million barrels a day in the previous report).
The EIA forecasts that oil production will stand at 1.91 million in 3Q2022, and 2.01 million in 4Q2022 (1.94 million and 1.99 million in the previous report, respectively).
Furthermore, the EIA forecasts that Kazakhstan’s liquids output will equal 1.92 million barrels a day in 2022 (1.85 million barrels a day in the previous report).
The annual 2023 liquids production in Kazakhstan is also forecast to be at 1.98 million barrels a day, the report said (2.02 million barrels a day in the previous report)
