BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. The initial storage capacity of Kulevi oil terminal of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR was increased from 360 000 cubic meters to 407 000 cubic meters, Trend reports with reference to the terminal’s website.

Reportedly, today the terminal is handling multiple types of oil products, including crude oil, fuel oil, gas oil, bitumen, hydrocarbon and petrochemical products like gasoline, aviation kerosene, methanol, naphtha, p-xylene, benzene, liquid pyrolysis resin, LPG and other products.

BST is certified in ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System), which means that all management system processes at the terminal fully meet international standards and requirements.

Kulevi Oil Terminal and port is one of the first and the most important investments of SOCAR in Georgia.

The company provides a high level of service, and operates in compliance with international market requirements by following all rules and regulations. The operations began on May 16, 2008. The transshipment of oil products was launched in June. The total capacity of the terminal is 10 million tons of liquid bulk oil cargo per year. The total capacity of the tank farm of the terminal is 402,000 cubic meters.
