BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. Net profit of Iran's Jam Polypropylene Company (JPPC) is expected to reach 49.5 trillion rials (about $1.18 billion) for the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), Executive Director of the JPPC Hamid Moradi said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

According to Moradi, the company's net profit amounted to 48.3 trillion rials (about $1.15 billion) for the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022).

The director also added that the value of each share of the company amounted to 24,700 rials (about $0.59).

“The company earned 5.8 trillion rials (about $138 million) from various investments, during last year. This is an increase of 128 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021),” he said.

In general, the value of the Iran’s Jam Polypropylene Company's sales for the last Iranian year amounted to about 93.2 trillion rials (about $2.2 billion).

The Jam Polypropylene Company, located in Asaluyeh County of Bushehr Province (southern Iran) operates under Jam Petrochemical Company. The company produces 300,000 tons of polypropylene a year.
