BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 1. Russia, Iraq and Kazakhstan were the three largest exporters of oil and oil products to Türkiye in June 2022, Trend reports citing Türkiye’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
Thus, 1.4 million tons of crude oil Türkiye imported from Iraq during the reporting month, which accounted for 33.87 percent of Türkiye’s total oil and oil products import.
Furthermore, Russia exported 1.3 million tons of crude oil and oil products to Türkiye during the reporting month, thus accounting for 31.91 percent of Türkiye’s total oil and oil products import.
The third largest crude oil and oil products exporter to Türkiye was Kazakhstan with indicators of 319,847 tons. Kazakhstan’s share in Türkiye’s crude oil and oil products export was 7.64 percent.
During the reporting month, Türkiye imported a total of 4.1 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products.
