BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. The production of Iran's Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Holding increased by about 8.3 percent during the last financial year (June 22, 2021 through June 21, 2022), compared to the previous year (June 21, 2020 through June 21, 2021), CEO of the company Abdolali Ali Asghari said, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.
He made the remark at the holding’s annual meeting on October 19, 2022.
“In total, Iran's Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Holding produced 22.2 million tons of petrochemical products over last financial year,” Ali Asghari said.
Meanwhile, in the previous year, the holding’s petrochemical production amounted to 20.5 million tons, the CEO noted.
Iran's Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Holding is considered one of the main petrochemical companies in the country.
