Iran shares weekly sales data from its energy exchange

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 1. The value of sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) amounted to approximately 11.6 trillion rials (about $39.8 million), from November 26 through November 30, 2022, Trend reports citing the IRENEX.

Overall, 55,600 tons of hydrocarbon products worth over 8.67 trillion rials (about $29.8 million) were sold at the Iran Energy Exchange. Of this, 4.23 trillion rials (about $14.6 million) worth of products were sold on the domestic floor, while 4.44 trillion rials (about $15.2 million) worth – on the international floor.

Moreover, 4.15 million kilowatt-hours of electricity worth 4.19 billion rials (about $14,400) were sold at the IRENEX within the mentioned period.

At the same time, Standard Parallel Salaf (Islamic contract, similar to futures) documents worth about 2.88 trillion rials (about $9.9 million) were also sold at the energy exchange.

The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.

The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 299,982 rials, and the price of $1 is 290,671 rials.
