BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 7. State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) got $646.35 million worth revenues from Shah Deniz field gas and condensate sale from January 1, 2023 to April 1, 2023, compared to $359.1 million in the same period in 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Fund.

As such, SOFAZ’s revenues from Shah Deniz increased by $287.2 million (80 percent) year-on-year.

In the first three months of this year, the revenues from Shah Deniz condensate sale amounted to $128.16 million, growing by two times from $62.49 million in the same period in 2022.

The Fund’s revenues from Shah Deniz gas and condensate sale stood at over $1.4 billion in 2022.

In 2022, the Shah Deniz field produced about 25 billion standard cubic meters (bscm) of gas and more than four million tons of condensate in total from the Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms.

The existing Shah Deniz facilities’ production capacity is currently about 74 million standard cubic meters of gas per day or more than 27 bcm.

Shah Deniz participating interests are: bp (operator – 29.99 percent), LUKOIL (19.99 percent), TPAO (19.00 percent), SOCAR (14.35 percent), NICO (10 percent) and SGC (6.67 percent).
