BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. More than 54,000 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iranian Energy Exchange (IRENEX), on May 27, Trend reports.
Of the mentioned volume, over 9,000 tons will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.
The following goods are to be offered on this floor:
- Iranian Esfahan Steel Company’s 300 tons of tar;
- Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s 500 tons of normal hexane, 4,000 tons of iso recycle, 720 tons of solvent 402, as well as 712 tons of solvent 503, and 355 tons of solvent 410 products;
- Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company’s 2,500 tons of iso recycle products.
At the same time, 45,000 tons of products will be on sale on international floor of the IRENEX:
- Iranian Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 3,000 tons of Raffinate-2;
- Lavan Oil Refining Company’s 32,000 tons of naphtha;
- Persian Gulf Star Oil Company’s 10,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products.
Meanwhile, the value of total sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) amounted to 9.16 trillion rials (about $20.5 million), during the last Iranian week (May 13 through May 17, 2023). This is a decrease of 30.6 percent, compared to the previous week (May 6 through May 10, 2023).
The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 457,262 rials, and the price of $1 is 425,067 rials.
