BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 26. The Azerbaijani cities of Shusha and Fuzuli, the village of Shukurbeyli, as well as Jabrayil, Zangilan, Gubadli and Lachin cities are provided with electricity through the Jabrayil energy hub with a capacity of 330 kW, the representative of Azerenergy JSC (main electrical power producer in Azerbaijan) told Trend.

According to him, two reserve sources of energy supply have been created in order to ensure the energy stability of Shusha city.

"Moreover, two 110 kW substations have been built in Lachin city, which are directly connected to the substations of the city of Shusha. We also plan to connect electricity from the Lachin substation and the Fuzuli substation to the Shusha-3 and Shusha-4 networks. The implementation of these projects will allow us to fully ensure the sustainability of the energy supply of the city of Shusha," he said.

He noted that the construction of a 110 kW/h power plant in the city of Lachin is fully completed.

"The Lachin substation with a capacity of 110/35/10 kW provides the entire city with electricity. We plan to integrate the energy capacities of the cities of Shusha and Lachin through a single line in the future,” he said.

“In addition, we also provided in the city of Gubadli with electricity from the Jabrayil energy hub through the Gubadli-1 and Gubadli-2 networks. Also, two power transmission lines have been carried out from the substation in the city of Gubadli to the city of Lachin," he added.
