BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. Businessmen from the UAE purchased Turkmen-made gasoline at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports.
Representatives of the business community from the UAE purchased 9,000 tons of gasoline on the exchange at a price of $708.25 per ton. The total amount of transactions amounted to $6.3 million.
At the same time, according to the exchange, businessmen from China purchased 130,000 square meters of fabric worth $53,300 and 330,000 square meters of gauze worth $33,000.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
