TAP consortium reveals gas flow nominations for interconnections

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 12. TAP AG consortium has released the gas flow nominations for its interconnections within the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) on June 12, Trend reports.

The Kipoi interconnection in Greece recorded gas entry nominations of 331,019,866 kWh for June 12 and 29,000,000 kWh for June 13.

At the Komotini interconnection, the exit nominations were 42,024,757 kWh for June 12. On the same date, the Nea Mesimvria interconnection registered 18,346,082 kWh for gas entry and 30,346,301 kWh for gas exit. The Melendugno interconnection reported 274,994,890 kWh for gas exit on June 12 and 29,000,000 kWh on June 13.

As the European segment of the Southern Gas Corridor, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) plays a crucial role in enhancing Europe's energy security, diversifying its energy sources, and supporting decarbonization initiatives. With a transportation capacity of approximately 10 billion cubic meters of gas annually, the pipeline has the potential to expand to 20 billion cubic meters per year. TAP serves as a dependable source of natural gas, contributing to Europe's access to a new and sustainable energy resource.
