SOCAR bonds generate $2.25M in interest income

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 23. SOCAR Bonds made two successful coupon payments in February and May this year, resulting in bondholders earning $2.25 million in interest income, SOCAR Capital told Trend.

“The interest and demand surrounding SOCAR bonds, which will remain active in the secondary market until 2026, are currently at a high level. These bonds continue to hold the status of being the most frequently traded corporate securities in today's market. Investors have the opportunity to invest in SOCAR bonds starting from the minimum value of 1 bond, equivalent to $1,000. Generally, bonds that are in high demand among investors range between $20,000 and $30,000,” said the company.

SOCAR Capital noted that prior to issuing these bonds, SOCAR conducts meticulous market research, carefully considering supply and demand dynamics, and determines the terms of bond issuance accordingly.

“Any updates regarding new bond releases will be promptly shared with the public, if available. Notably, the Baku Stock Exchange witnessed robust trading activities involving SOCAR bonds, with nearly $5 million worth of transactions taking place during the first four months of this year. This demonstrates the sustained interest and confidence of investors in the bonds offered by SOCAR,” said he company.
