BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 24. Businessmen from UAE purchased Turkmen-made jet fuel at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports.
Representatives of the business community from UAE purchased 3,000 tons of jet fuel on the exchange at a price of $680.75 per ton. The total amount of transactions amounted to $2 million.
At the same time, according to the exchange, businessmen from Afghanistan purchased 1.500 tons of jet fuel in the amount of $1 million ($675 per ton).
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
