Iran’s IRENEX announces hydrocarbon products to be on sale on August 8

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. A total of 40,800 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on August 8, Trend reports.

Of the mentioned volume, 26,300 tons will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.

The following goods are to be offered:

- Iranian Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s 8,000 tons of iso recycle, 356 tons of solvent-503, 356 tons of solvent-502, 353 tons of solvent-402, 178 tons of solvent-410 and 178 tons of solvent-400 products;

- Tehran Oil Refining Company’s 4,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG);

- South Pars Gas Company’s 3,780 tons of gas condensate;

- Shazand Petrochemical Company’s 3,000 tons of pyrolysis gasoline and 506 tons of heavy distillate products;

- Ilam Petrochemical Company’s 3,000 tons of pyrolysis gasoline;

- Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company’s 500 tons of butane and 500 tons of propane products;

- Amir-Kabir Petrochemical Company’s 500 tons of heavy distillate;

- Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company’s 320 tons of MTBE, 308 tons of heavy distillate, 200 tons of liquefied gas and 100 tons of propane gas products;

- Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company’s 200 tons of liquid nitrogen products.

Furthermore, 14,500 tons of products will be on sale on the international floor of the IRENEX:

- Iranian Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company’s 4,000 tons of heavy hydrocarbons, 3,000 tons of Raffinate, 2,000 tons of reformate and 1,000 tons of LPG products;

- National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company’s 4,000 tons of white oil;

- Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s 300 tons of hydrocarbons (C7-C9) and 200 tons of pentane products.

Meanwhile, total sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) were approximately 10.6 trillion rials (about $25.6 million) during the previous Iranian week (July 22 through July 26, 2023), representing a 68.5 percent decrease from the previous week (July 22 through July 26, 2023).

Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) sells its products at the SANA exchange rate.

The SANA system is a currency exchange system implemented by the Central Bank of Iran in which the price of one euro is 454,784 rials and the price of one dollar is 413,439 rials.

The sale of hydrocarbon products at the Iran Energy Exchange is of great importance to the country’s economy. Through the energy exchange, Iran seeks to provide hydrocarbon products needed by local companies as well as increase exports.
