BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 21. Azerbaijan exported over six million tons of oil and petroleum products to Italy from January through July 2023, which is 38.89 percent of the total Azerbaijani exports of raw materials, Trend reports.
This figure decreased by 9.5 percent year-on-year (by more than 634,310 tons).
In addition, Azerbaijani exports of oil and petroleum products to Italy in the reporting period amounted to over $3.8 billion, which is 24.19 percent less compared to the same period in 2022.
In general, Azerbaijan exported about 15.5 million tons of oil and petroleum products from January through July 2023, which is 5.33 percent less than the same period last year (16.4 million tons). Oil exports exceeded $9.4 billion, which is 23.82 percent, or $2.9 billion less than from January through July 2022.
