Situated at the heart of Europe's energy infrastructure, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) functions as a vital conduit, facilitating the transit of approximately 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas to a diverse array of markets. Notably, TAP possesses the potential for substantial expansion, with the capability to achieve an annual capacity of 20 billion cubic meters. The significance of TAP, both from a strategic and economic perspective, is underscored by its crucial role in ensuring Europe's dependable access to a fresh natural gas supply. This pivotal role contributes significantly to enhancing energy security, promoting the diversification of energy sources, and accelerating the ambitious journey towards achieving decarbonization goals.
