ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 28. Chairman of the Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern Guvanch Agadzhanov invited international companies to participate in the implementation of four major energy projects in the country, Trend reports.
According to him, the projects will be implemented at the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex (TOPC), as well as the Seydi Oil Refinery (SOR).
Furthermore, he noted that with implementation of these projects, Turkmennebit State Concern plans to establish the export of hydrogen and nitrogen to foreign countries.
"The main directions of development of oil refineries in Turkmenistan are the introduction of new technologies, improving the quality of products and their competitiveness, compliance with advanced international standards, as well as full compliance with the requirements of new international standards aimed at protecting nature and maintaining the cleanliness of the environment," Agadzhanov said.
Meanwhile, the international exhibition and conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2023" (OGT-2023) will be held in Ashgabat from October 25 to October 27 this year.
The event will be attended by representatives of state and international organizations, national and private oil and gas companies, as well as experts from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, the US, Russia, the UAE, China, Japan, Malaysia, the UK, Italy, Cyprus, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and Singapore.
