INPEX reports substantial increase in total assets

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 14. INPEX has revealed a substantial increase in total assets as of September 30, 2023, soaring by ¥711.4 billion to ¥6,971.3 billion from the previous year-end figure of ¥6,259.8 billion as of December 31, 2022, Trend reports.

This remarkable growth is attributed to a surge in current assets, rising by ¥237.4 billion to ¥966.8 billion, driven by an increase in securities and other holdings. Fixed assets also witnessed a notable uptick, climbing by ¥474.0 billion to ¥6,004.5 billion. This increase is attributed to growth in tangible fixed assets, investments, and other assets.

While the company experienced a surge in total assets, total liabilities also saw an increase, rising by ¥149.7 billion to ¥2,387.2 billion from ¥2,237.4 billion as of December 31, 2022. This was driven by a ¥297.3 billion increase in current liabilities, reaching ¥824.1 billion, partially offset by a decrease of ¥147.5 billion in long-term liabilities, totaling ¥1,563.1 billion.

The positive financial trend is further highlighted by a substantial increase in net assets, which grew by ¥561.7 billion to ¥4,584.0 billion. Total shareholders' equity also contributed to this growth, increasing by ¥161.8 billion to ¥3,070.1 billion. Additionally, total accumulated other comprehensive income experienced a significant uptick, rising by ¥395.1 billion to ¥1,247.7 billion, while non-controlling interests in net assets increased by ¥4.6 billion to ¥266.1 billion.
