ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 2. Turkmenistan's Turkmengeology State Concern conducts drilling work to search for a new inflow of oil and gas, Trend reports.
According to official data, in October, employees of the state concern conducted exploration and drilling operations at 10 wells, such as Batgalyer, Uzynada, Goturdepe-1907, Goturdepe-242, Garadashli, Chukurgui, Akpatlavuk, Chalgerishbaba, Gazlydepe, and Malai.
During the corresponding period, according to the plan, 7,103 meters of depth were drilled, and works worth over 92.7 million Turkmen manat ($26.4 million) were completed.
Currently, along with exploration and drilling operations at some wells, the state concern is organizing major repairs.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan, striving to ensure a stable and sustainable energy future, pays significant attention to expanding its oil and gas infrastructure through active drilling of new wells.
The main bias in the drilling strategy is the use of modern technologies and advanced methods aimed at improving the efficiency of extracting energy resources, taking into account environmental standards, and reducing the negative impact on the environment.
