BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 19. Azerbaijan has disclosed its revenue from the export of crude oil and petroleum products from January through November of the current year, revealing a total of over $15 billion, Trend reports.

This marks a decrease from the corresponding period in 2022 when revenue reached $18.3 billion, as reported by the State Customs Committee. The year-on-year comparison indicates a 17.6 percent decline in the country's revenue from crude oil and petroleum product exports.

The volume of exports experienced a modest decrease of 0.5 percent, going from 24.318 million tons in the first 11 months of 2022 to 24.199 million tons during the same period in the current year.

According to the State Customs Committee, the share of crude oil and petroleum products in Azerbaijan's total exports for the reporting period amounted to 47.92 percent, down from 50.42 percent in the previous year.

Azerbaijan's oil is transported to neighboring countries and global markets through three pipelines: Baku-Novorossiysk, Baku-Supsa, and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC). Presently, the transportation via the Baku-Supsa pipeline is on hold. Additionally, oil is exported by rail to the Georgian terminals of Batumi and Kulevi.
