Turkmenistan comes up with last year's oil output total volume

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, February 12. The volume of oil produced in Turkmenistan from all fields last year amounted to more than 8.31 million tons, Trend reports.

Dovletgeldi Amanmukhammedov, Chairman of Turkmenistan's State Statistics Committee, made this announcement during an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to him, in the country, compared with 2022, the production of petroleum bitumen increased by 30.1 percent, and kerosene by 0.6 percent.

Furthermore, Amanmukhammedov stated that last year there were positive indicators in the non-governmental sector of the economy, indicating noticeable growth and stability.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is actively engaged in diversifying its energy sector, with a specific focus on advancing its oil-related industries.

Given the nation's extensive oil reserves, this undertaking holds great significance, encompassing ambitious strategies for the extraction, transportation, and export of this crucial energy commodity.
