MOL Group sees increase in gas output

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 23. Hungarian MOL Group has produced 39,100 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) of gas in the fourth quarter of 2023, as compared to 38,300 boe/d in the same period in 2022, Trend reports with reference to the company.

As such, the company’s natural gas production rose by more than 2 percent year-on-year.

The volume of gas production in 4Q stood at 22,400 boe/d in Hungary, 12,000 boe/d in Croatia, 3,200 boe/d in o/w Croatian offshore and 4,500 boe/d in Pakistan.

Overall, the company’s gas production in the financial year of 2023 stood at 37,700 boe/d, as compared to 37,900 boe/d in FY 2022, showing a 0.5 percent decrease.
