ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 7. Turkmenistan has purchased about 3,560 tons of aviation fuel from Türkiye for the entire year 2023, Trend reports.
According to Türkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), during the specified period, Turkmenistan's imports of aviation fuel from Türkiye exceeded 10.2 times the volume of imports in 2022, which amounted to 346.2 tons.
Furthermore, in December of this year alone, Turkmenistan imported 184 tons of aviation fuel from Türkiye.
At the same time, the volume of aviation fuel purchased by Turkmenistan from Türkiye in 2022 is 37.7 percent less than in the same period of 2021 (555.8 tons).
Meanwhile, the expansion of economic ties between Turkmenistan and Türkiye is a dynamic and strategically important event, reflecting the extensive economic ties between the two countries.
Both countries are actively diversifying their trade partnerships, strengthening cooperation, and exploring new areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
