BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. The volume of oil pumped through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline from January through March 2024 amounted to 7.267 million tons against 7.245 million tons in the same period of 2023, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the share of pumping through BTC accounted for 75.2 percent of the total volume of oil transported through the main oil pipelines passing through the territory of Azerbaijan.
From January through March 2024, Azerbaijan's oil accounted for 5.867 million tons of oil pumped through BTC against 6.224 million tons in the same period of 2023.
In 2023, a total of 30.19 million tons of oil was transported through BTC, representing an increase of 1.5 percent over 2022.
