ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 23. Azerbaijan imported 815 tons of kerosene from Turkmenistan from January through February this year, Trend reports.
According to Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee, the cost
of importing kerosene from Turkmenistan during the indicated time
was approximately $514,000.
During the stated period, Azerbaijan bought almost all of its
kerosene from Turkmenistan.
Furthermore, throughout the last year, Azerbaijan purchased from
Turkmenistan around 37,500 tons of jet engine kerosene fuel worth
$20.3 million, as well as approximately 17,800 tons of other types
of kerosene fuel worth $12.3 million.
Meanwhile, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan was
$73.9 million in the first two months of 2024, down 29.6 percent
from the same period in 2023, when it was $105.1 million.
