BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 9. ITOCHU Corporation, a Tokyo-based global trading and investment company, has announced a strategic investment in Killick Aerospace Limited, a leading supplier of aftermarket solutions for the aviation industry, Trend reports with reference to the company.
This move marks ITOCHU’s first venture into the aircraft aftermarket sector, complementing its established aircraft leasing operations.
Killick Aerospace, headquartered in Ireland, specializes in providing commercial aircraft and engine solutions for Airbus and Boeing platforms. The company has a strong presence in key markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, and Australia, and offers a comprehensive inventory of readily available equipment through its distribution centers across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
ITOCHU’s entry into the aircraft aftermarket sector aligns with its management policy, "The Brand-New Deal," which focuses on leveraging downstream profit opportunities and expanding its business portfolio. Through this partnership with Killick, ITOCHU aims to enhance its capabilities in the aviation industry while contributing to its sustainable growth.
