Oil&Gas Materials 1 July 2005 18:07 (UTC +04:00)

In the first half-year the Department for marketing and economic operations (MEOD) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), has exported from the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, OR, (former Azerneftyanacag), part of the SOCAR, 460,1 thousand tons of various oil products, which is 41,5 thousand tons more of January-June 2004, the SOCAR told Trend.

In June the oil products export of the MEOD SOCAR was 107,4 thousand tons, which is 40,4 thousand tons more of the June 2004 and by 39,7 thousand tons less of the May 2005. The main resaon for the export decrease is non-availability of the naphta processing at the Heydar Aliyev OR for getting gasoline.

The Cabinet of Ministers instructed the other Baku OR, Azerneftyag to deliver all naphta in June and July to the State Concern Azerkimya instead of its refining and getting gasoline. Along with it, in June at the Heydar Aliyev OR additional mazut refining produced by the Azerneftyag, was not available,.

According to the SOCAR, in June the oil products were sold in the world markets at following prices (FOB MED (Italy)): gasoline вЂ" $509,61/t
$455,44/t ($54,17/t to May price), jet fuel вЂ" $552,49/t ($56,81/t), diesel fuel - $505,13/ t ($69,34/t).
