Oil&Gas Materials 15 August 2005 19:27 (UTC +04:00)

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) resumed partially deliveries of liquefied gas to the Georgian market. From the start of August 750 tons of liquefied gas have been shipped by the “Kopetnati” and “Evrogas” companies, SOCAR told Trend. With all these, 140 tons of the
oil product fell at Kopetnari.

SOCAR suspended deliveries of the liquefied gas to the Georgian market in the last decade of July due to the sharp increase of demand for this product in the internal market of Azerbaijan.

В"We could partially resume deliveries of the liquefied gas to Georgia due to the slight decrease of the demand for this oil product at the country’s domestic market”, SOCAR pointed out.

During January-July 2005 SOCAR shipped totally 6,8 thousand tons of the liquefied gas.

The Azerbaijan’s liquefied gas, sold by SOCAR is produced at the catalytic cracking facility of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (former Azerneftyanajag).
