In January to August 2005 the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC),which is involved in the development of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields, has exported a total of 6,47 million tons of Azeri Light oil, or 2,49 million tons more than 2004.
The AIOC told Trend that in January to August 4,567 million tons of Azeri Light oil were exported via the Baku-Supsa (western route), 1,354 million tons via the Baku-Novorossissk route (northern route). The company delivered 553,09 tons of crude in the Georgian direction вЂ" to Batumu port .
In August the AIOC transported 948,300 tons in three direction, or 67,000 tons more than July 2005 and 385,300 tons more than August 2004. In August the company pumped 487,690 tons via the Western route, 235,680 tons via the Northern route and 224,900 tons via the Baku Batumi.
