The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) closed a tender on sale of two types of light oil products in the Georgian direction in the first half-year of 2006. The SOCAR told Trend that State Company Saknavtotransi (former Gruzneftetrans), which submitted better proposals, wan the tender on sale of diesel fuel and gasoline.
According to the SOCAR, a contract will be developed with the company and the volume of deliveries of light oil products will be defined. “As soon as the Baku-based ORP confirms its readiness Azerneftyanacag) to ship fuel, we will clarify the concrete amount of deliveries in the first half-year,” the SOCAR said.
In January to November the Marketing and Economic Operations Department of the SOCAR exported 269,400 tons of gasoline from the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant, or 54,900 tons down as compared to 2004, and 409,100 diesel fuel (32,100 down as compared to 2004 РіРѕРґР°).
