SOCAR started drilling of the new well on the Gum-Deniz oil field, SOCAR told Trend. The company set to drilling of the в"- 464 well in early January and by now about 140 meters have been drilled by the total design depth of 3500 meters. The daily average drilling rotation is 30 meters. The drilling works on the well are supposed to complete in the I quarter of 2006.
SOCAR noted, in early January the Off-shore Unit for drilling works Gum-Adasi commissioned the в"-456 well of the 3750 meters design depth. The wells production rate is 30 tons of oil and 150,000 cubic meters gas a day. 38 wells are available currently on the field. One more well is being drilled on the area, в"-449 of the 3700 meters design depth.
Besides, the Unit conducts drilling of new wells on the Govsan and Bahar oil fields.
