In late April CDC Company will complete drilling of the second advance well in the deep water part of the Guneshli field from the Dada Gorgud drilling rig. The project depth of the well comprises around 3,700 meters. The Company has drilled approximately 3,285 meters so far, CDC told Trend.
From May to June the Company will carry out planned repair at the drilling rig. During the work it is supposed to replace dwelling block of the rig, clear and neutralize contaminants, as well as carry out work on control system of preventor mechanisms.
The drilling rig will be returned to the deep water part of the Guneshli field after completion of the work for continuation of advance drilling, CDC concluded.
