BTC Co. completes testing of its third pumping station (PST-3) at the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline in Turkey. The next part of the pipeline till the last pumping station (PST-4) will be filled with the technical oil of Azeri Light sort, BP told Trend .
There are 4 pumping stations on the Turkish territory. The terms of sending the first oil-loaded tanker from Ceyhan port, planned for the end of May, remain unchanged.
There are 6.5 million barrels of the Azeri Light oil in the BTC pipeline in total.
The filling of pipeline with oil first started in May 2005. 10 million barrels are needed to fill the pipeline completely.
