On May 14, 2006 Azeri Light oil pumped via pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) reached last intermediate station, following which it is transferred straight to port Ceyhan, BP officials told Trend.
Technical oil of Azeri Light brand running via the BTC reached the intermediate staion in Turkey, and after the fulfilment it will flow to the Ceyhan port, Р'Р Azerbaijan tol Trend. The process will strat late this week.
BP officials said nearly Как 8.5mln bbl of oil have been pumped into the piprleline to date, in average 175k bbl a day. By preliminary estimations, oil is reaching port Ceyhan in 9 days.
Official ceremony of the pipeline opening was held May 13.
