Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova to establish fuel and power council
States within GUAM are going to establish a cooperative fuel and power council, Trend reports quoting Ivan Plachkov, Ukrainian Minister of Fuel and Power, speaking upon the completion of session of ministers of economy, power, transport and heads of customs committees of GUAMs member-countries.
The sides agreed to work out the draft of agreement for establishment of fuel and power council within a month. Also, the pow-wow talked of creation of Caspian-Black Sea gas transportation route for GUAM countries own needs and supply to European consumers.
Besides, they discussed utilization of oil pipeline Odessa-Brodi and its branches to ports of Baltic Sea, as well as executing joint projects in power, extraction of hydrocarbons and their transportation.
