Within 8-10 years 15 world countries will control over approximately 60% of oil production, producing around 63 million barrels of oil a day.

The report particularly notes the great potential of oil development to 1.1 million barrels a day in Azerbaijan, 3.3 million barrels in Kazakhstan. The Saudi Arabia will maintain leadership lifting 13.2 million barrels of crude.

The major source for increase of oil production in Azerbaijan will be carried out at the expense of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields. Every year over 50 million barrels of oil will be exported via the BTC.
