State Oil Company of Azerbaijan keeps drilling exploratory well at Bahar field. The design depth of the well is 5,000m, from which 4,000 have been drilled to date, SOCAR officials told Trend.
They said also the second bore was drilled upon encountering some problems at the depth 3,500m.
This well drilling is quite significant for the further drilling in this section of the field and other field, Bahar-2. SOCAR suggests up to 5mt of conventional fuel deposited in this area.
