Operator of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline resumed oil pumping via the route, BP, an operator of BTC Co. told Trend. The interruption in the transportation was explained with some work in the pipeline.
Oil pumping via the pipeline will increase to 300,000 barrels of oil a day shortly. Following the stable transportation of such volumes via pipeline, an exact schedule for shipment of tankers will be defined, the company stressed.
Until the interruption of pumping, 200,000 barrels of oil was transported via the pipeline a day.
