Nearly 480kt of oil pumped via BTC in May-June 2006

During January-June 2006, Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC), developing Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli offshore block, exported in various directions 8.632mln ton of Azeri Light oil, up 4.02mln ton over year.

AIOC officials told Trend, during the reported period the pipeline Baku-Supsa (western route) pumped 3.541mln ton of oil, up 3.487mln ton over year. The pipeline Baku-Novorossiysk (northern route) exported 2.008mln ton against 1.041mln in the relevant period of 2005. Georgian port Batumi received 2.603mln ton against 84.4 kt a year ago. 479.972kt of oil have been pumped through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline during January-June 2006.

In June 2006, AIOC export totaled 1.213mln ton of oil, down 0.277mln ton over month. Baku-Supsa pipeline in June exported 607.003kt against 600.85kt in May 2006. Baku-Novorossiysk exported in June 340.149kt compared to 332.502kt in May 2006 РіРѕРґР°. Port Batumi received 266.399kt compared to 497.31kt in May 2006. BTC pipeline in June pumped 419.619kt against 60.354kt in May.
