В"At the moment it is untimely to speak of completion of Azeri-Georgian talks on additional gad supplies from Shah DenizВ", people familiar to Azeri-Georgian talks told Trend.

В"Today it is yet not clear when gas production at Shah Deniz starts and how much we will deliver to Turkey depending on its technical readinessВ", said the source.

Last week, Georgian Minister of Energy Nika Gilauri said starting 2007 Georgia would be eceive 1.2bn m3 of gas a year from Shah Deniz, which had been agreed upon in Ceyhan at commissioning of BTC pipeline. Azeri gas will cost Georgia at most $110 per 1k m3, the same as Georgia pays Russia today.

The people familiar with situation said the question of gas injection at ACG field still remains in air. В"Azerbaijan should know how much gas will be injected and how much delivered to SOCAR. This will define the gas balance and necessity in additional gas from Shah DenizВ", sources opined.
