Today BP Azerbaijan, the operator of the development project of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields, starts drilling the third well from stationary platform Central Azeri, Trend has been told in the company.
The company has already put the second well into exploitation, which was drilled from the stationary platform Central Azeri. The exploited wells are 4800 meters in depth. The debt of the wells is 15-20 thousand barrels per day.
The daily gross debt from platform Central Azeri is reported at approximately 260 thousand barrels of oil. In the west part of the field, nearly 120 thousand barrels of oil are produced a day. The average daily production from Chirag field equals 150 thousand barrels.
