According to the order of the president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovnak Abdullayev dated 25 August 2006, Hajiyev Akpar Haji oglu was appointed the new director of Oil Refinery Azneftyag, Trend reports with reference to the statement of SOCAR.
Earlier, this position was being held by Ramiz Mirzayev who was recently appointed the deputy minister of industry and energy of Azerbaijan.
Hajiyev Akpar was born in 1972. In 1993, he graduated from the Construction and Engineering Institute in Saint-Petersburg. He started his labour activity in 2004 in the Joint Stock Company Industrial liquid gas. From 22 March 2006 to his appointment to the position of director of Refinery, Hajiyev had worked as the chairman of Industrial liquid gas.
