Azerbaijani-Moldavian talks regarding energy cooperation to be held in Baku

Next week, negotiations will be held in Baku regarding energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Moldova, Moldavian ambassador to Azerbaijan Ion Robu told Trend.

An expert group of Moldavian government chaired by the minister of ecology and natural resources Constantine Mikhalesk will arrive in Baku at the begging of next week to participate in the talks. During the visit, it is planned to study the experience of Azerbaijani colleagues and prepare relevant materials for renewal of research-exploration works in the territory of Moldova, the ambassador underlined. The diplomat positively assessed that the prospects of energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Moldova.

According to Robu, the first working meeting of the experts groups of the two countries was held in March of this year. The sides discussed the situation with feasibility of Moldavian territory to assess the prospects of oil and gas resources.
