Azeri Oil Prices Fall

On Wednesday (September 27) AZERI LT FOB Ceyhan oil price was $58.66 per barrel (down $0.69 per barrel as compared to the previous day). AZERI LT FOB Ceyhan prices dropped $4.44 per barrel as compared to last Wednesday, Trend reports.

AZERI LT CIF Augusta oil price was $59.77 per barrel (- $0.71 per barrel). Density of Azeri Light is 34.6 degrees API, sulphur content 0.14%. AZERI LT CIF Augusta prices fell $3.33 per barrel as compared to last Wednesday.

Azeri Light oil is produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli offshore fields, which is developed under BP's operatorship. Without any mixing with other brands of oil it is delivered to the Turkish port of Ceyhan via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline, to the Georgian port of Supsa via the Baku-Supsa pipeline and to the Georgian port of Batumi by railway. Density of Azeri Light is 34.6 degrees by API, sulphur content is 0.14%.

The price of URAL (EX-NOVO) was $54.39 per barrel (- $0.39 per barrel). Density of URAL is 30.4-31.85 degrees by API, sulphur content up to 1.8%. URAL (EX-NOVO) prices dropped $4.95 per barrel as compared to last Wednesday.

Azerbaijan exports URAL oil from the Novorossiysk port, which is delivered via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline. The high quality Azerbaijani oil, including Azeri Light, is blended with other oil brands in the Russian pipeline system and is sold from the Novorossiysk in the type of URAL. Density of URAL is 30.4-31.85 degrees by API, sulphur content is up to 1.8%.

The price of DTD was $57.60 per barrel (- $0.83 per barrel). DTD prices dropped $4.95 per barrel as compared to last Tuesday.

Density of DTD is 38.3 degrees API, sulphur content 0.36%.
